    Charlotte Kalla showed a very good shape before WSC

    Otepaa - Charlotte Kalla (SWE) showed a very good shape with 2nd place in 10km distance (classic) at the last race before World Championship in Lahti. Kalla who came to Oteppa after high altitude training, said that  the hills in Otepaa track are very tough! We can say that for her are those hills were just perfect.

    Justyna Kowalczyk (POL)'s return in the top fifth is also very optimistic before the WSC. 

    In the men's 15km race, Niklas Dyrhaug (NOR) ended just after the podium on 4th place. He missed the podium only for 6. second. 

    At the last race (Mass Start) in World Championship - Biathlon in Hochfilzen, Gabriela Koukalova (CZE) finished at 4th place and Teja Gregorin (SLO) at 5th place.

    Otepaa - After a week of break, World cup cross country skiers are continuing with races in Otepaa (EST). At today sprint race Stina Nilsson was unbeatable with also the fastest time in qualification. Her today's victory inspires an optimism before the World championship in Lahti which start next week!

    In the men's competition, Finn Haagen Krogh as 2nd crossed the finish line. Krogh had some problems in the quarterfinal, then he changed the skies and felt every heat much stronger!

    Ondrej Moravec won the silver medal on 20km Individual

    Hochfilzen - Ondrej Moravec won a silver medal on 20km Individual in WCH. By his words he has never been so close to the gold medal as today. The winner Lowell Bailey (USA) beated him just for 3,3 second. But at the end Moravec said that Bailey deserved the gold today. Both Moravec and Bailey have left the shooting range without a mistake. So today was the luck on the side of USA with the first World Champion! Congrats for both!
