    Swiss Dario Cologna proved that this season was really the best cross-country skier in the world. In addition to the big crystal globe, he gained small one in a distance. Norwegian Petter Northug won third place overall. Sweden Theodor Peterson received small crystal globe in sprint overall, Norwegian Eirik Brandsdal finished third in the same category. Best Alpina women was Norwegian Maiken Caspersen Falla, who was second in sprint overall.

    Biathlon racer Andreas Birnbacher was third overall and receive small crystal globe in mass start. Slovene Jakov Fak placed second in individual race clasification.

    Alpina has really great racing team and is really proud of them.

    Four medals in Stockholm for Alpina cross-country skiers

    Norwegian Eirik Brandsdal claimed last victory in classic sprint in front of  Stockholm castle. After some perfect results last months, he finished the Sprint World Cup as third. Second best in Stocholm was Sweden Teodor Peterson, who won overall Sprint World Cup. Third was Canadian Len Valjas.

    Norwegian Maiken Caspersen Falla showed great performance and finished third. She placed second in Sprint World Cup. 

    World Cup season will be finished this weekend in Falun.

    Thirteen medals at the World Championship in biathlon for Alpina athletes

    The week long World Championship in Ruhpolding, Germany ended. Alpina athletes won three gold, four silver and six bronze medals. The most successful among them was Slovenian Jakov Fak, who won the world title and silver medal in the mixed relay. Among the recipients of medals were Slovenian athletes Teja GregorinAndreja MaliKlemen Bauer, Germans Andreas Birnbacher and Simon Schempp, Norwegians Rune Brattsween and Tarjei Boe and Russians Vilukhina Olga and Anton Shipulin.

    World cup season will end in the Russian Khanty-Mansiysk.
