Bronze medal for Biathlete Jakov Fak

At the IBU World Championships 2013, Alpina racing team achieved excellent results.
On Men 10 km sprint Jakov Fak won gold medal, Dmitry Malishko was ended race on excellent 5th place.
On Men 12.5 km Pursuit race Alpina racing team won three ranking among the top ten. Dmitriy Malyshko on 4 th, Dominik Landertinger on 5 th and Jakov Fak on 6 th place.
These are really optimistic results for Alpina Biathletes.
On women 7,5 km sprint and 10 km Pursuit were the best biathletes Olga Vilukhina and Ekaterina Glazyrina on 5 th place.

IBU World Championships 2013

The 2013 IBU World Championships started on Thursday 7th of February 2013 in Nove Mesto na Morave, Czech Rebuplic.
Biathletes competed in mix relay in the stadium which was full of fanatical and loud biathlon fans. Norwegian Tarjei Boe won victory, second Alpina racing team biathlete was Ondrej Moravec with third place.

XC Victory in Sochi

Past weekend olympic tracks in Sochi were tested by nordic athletes (Alpina racing team). In complex, highly variable weather conditions, races were very interesting and dramatic. These races already suggested that olympic games next year will be dificult for athletes and also for support crew.
At friday's sprint is Petter Northug won victory. In the women's sprint Norwegian Celine Brun –Lie with was the best ranked on third place.
Athletes will take a short break before the World Cup, which will start 16 th february in Davos.
